Just an hour and half north from Sydney, 40 minutes from the Hunter Valley Wineries, 15 minutes or so from the swimming and surfing beaches of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie and also 5 minutes to the beautiful Lake Macquarie.

The Travellers Home B & B gracefully mixes the old with the new. It has the charm of yesteryears and comforts of modern day living. It offers a retreat to a busy lifestyle. The apartment is fully furnished and well maintained to make your stay very comfortable and relaxing.

The apartment features 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in one room and 2 single beds in another. It has separate lounge room with wide screen TV with Foxtel, separate fully equipped dining and kitchen, 2 verandas solely for your use, a bathroom with spa and a shower, a lock up garage and more for you to discover when you stay with us. All linens, bath robes, toiletries, hair dryer are provided.

The bed and breakfast is situated minutes away from two big shopping malls, restaurants and cafes on the waterfront, shops, cinemas, gyms, skating rink, golf, cycling and walking trails and many more indoor and outdoor activities. Wine, cheese and chocolate tasting at the Hunter Valleys can be arranged as well as lake cruises.

Tariff includes a big sumptuous breakfast and newspaper. Complimentary wine is provided for stays of 2 days or more. Fruits, fresh flowers and chocolates await your arrival.

Rates; $150 to $175

Rates (From January 2010)

Friday to Sunday nights (Weekend) $175 per night/per couple

Monday to Thursday (Weeknights) $160 per night/per couple

Weekly Stay $1050.00 - for 2 persons

Extra guest per night: 1 guest $30; 2 guests $50

Tariff  includes a hearty breakfast. Complimentary wine & chocolates or cheese platter upon arrival for stays of 2 days or more.

• Minimum of 2 nights stay required.
• Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Please confirm price when making an enquiry.
• We also offer a no breakfast option rate if you are interested. The apartment is self-contained and there are shops nearby as well as cafes.
• Quality linens, towels & toiletries are provided & free of charge.
• Inquire for specials or discount offers available when making a booking or enquiry.
• We served cooked breakfast on weekends (Sat.- Mon.) & basket breakfast on weekdays (Tues.- Fri.)

Terms & Conditions:

• Check out time is 10:30 am and check in time is 2 pm.
• Early check in or late check out is subject to availability.
• To secure booking, we require a deposit of 25% of total accommodation cost.
• Two weeks notice of cancellation is required for full refund of deposit.
• Rates are in Australian dollars.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard and Cash Payments.
• Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited. There is a designated area.
