Dobell House was the home and studio of the
world renowned painter Sir William Dobell.
The house contains original furniture memorabilia
and family momentos. The exhibition of more than
200 images of Dobells works brings together the
largest number of his works in any location. Also on
display are photographs and prints of his life & work.

Directions: From Morisset, follow the main road
towards Toronto, After Dora Creek, follow the signs to
Wangi Wangi. After the primary school, Dobell House
is on the left. From Toronto, take the main road towards Morisset. Turn left at Donelly Road and follow the road
down to Lake Macquarie. Turn right and follow Dobell
Drive to Dobell House just after the primary school.

Latest News
For the third year in a row, members of the Dobell
House Art Group will hold an exhibition and sale of
their work in the Amateur Sailing Club on the foreshore
at Toronto over the Easter weekend. It is part of the
Heritage Afloat Festival and will be open from 8.00am to
5.00pm each day. Admission is free.

Guides are available on all occasions. Groups
receive a presentation about Dobell, his life, his art
and the history of the House before they
experience the House and Studio at their leisure.
